We sat in plastic chairs under the shade of a tree, feeling a bit awkward as we tried to decipher the ceremony taking place before us…A live chicken was brought to the circle and handed to me…I felt undeserving to be treated like a VIP.

Her Sin, His Grace

As a little girl, I loved to survey the objects which populated the top of my mother’s dresser.  I would dig through the crystal candy dish which contained a tangle of necklaces, earrings, and pins. Next, my attention would be drawn to the bottles of perfume standing nearby.
