We had a wonderful time at our women’s breakfast this past Saturday, despite the threat of snow! Meghan Mellinger shared a message on being women of the whole Word, and it is well worth listening to if you missed it. Our next breakfast is scheduled for April 18th, 2020.
In the meantime, we’ve been receiving requests for the delicious baked oatmeal recipe that was served on Saturday. We are sharing it here on the blog so it can cozy up your homes this winter season. It was delicious served warm with some syrup or cold milk!
Baked Oatmeal
Combine these ingredients:
½ C Oil
½ C Brown sugar
2 Eggs
Combine in another bowl:
3 C Oats
1 tsp Baking powder
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Cinnamon
1 C Milk
Garnish: (serve on side)
Raisin
Coconut flakes
Chopped walnuts
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°. Spray an 8X8 pan with oil.
Mix 2 bowls of ingredients together and pour into pan.
Bake for 30 min or until top turns golden brown.
Double the recipe for 9×13 pan and bake for 45 min.
